Download the Joint COCIR/HINE Press Release 'Barriers to eHealth Deployment Must Be Overcome'.

As members of the organising committee of the World Health IT 2006, COCIR and HINE thought it would make sense to join forces and organise an industry satellite session to look at the future of the European market together. 

The session aimed to analyse industry’s role, lessons learned and challenges to wider deployment of eHealth tools, systems and services but also to look ahead and discuss with industry representatives a vision and strategies for developing the eHealth market in Europe. 

This session was organised on 9 October 2006 and was open to COCIR and HINE members as well as national (healthcare) IT vendor associations and other industrial and business players.
