Following the testing start to last year, COCIR is preparing to continue a range of activities to meet the challenges and the opportunities of 2021.
COCIR was delighted to be able to organise virtual events recently on recovery and resilience (click here to read more) and on cervical cancer (click here to read more). Indeed, cancer care remains a priority for COCIR and its Members.
We were also very pleased to organise a webinar entitled “Recovery from COVID-19 – driving healthcare resilience in the EU”?. As a result of this, COCIR was able to publish recommendations to assist the European Commission and Member States in developing their national recovery plans in the framework of the Recovery & Resilience Facility. You can download our recommendations here.
During the coming weeks, we will be paying close attention to the implementation of the Medical Device Directive, scheduled for 26 May.
Last - as the leading association in Digital Technologies - COCIR will continue to develop our efforts to explain the pivotal role and importance of Artificial intelligence in healthcare. Since last year, we have been centralising concrete AI use cases and will continue with this work for the weeks to come. We are also excited to be organising a virtual event entitled "How to ensure trust in Artificial Intelligence in healthcare?" on 11 May. You can find out more and register here.
Stay tuned; more to come very soon - keep following our activities!
