Due to developments in medical technology far beyond radiology, market developments both on a national and international level, changes in society and the new vision of the Board members & General Assembly, it was decided that FARON would change its name to Holland HealthCare Technology Association. The tradename for daily use & the logo will be <st1:city w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Holland</st1:place></st1:city> HealthTech.

Holland HealthTech has therefore grown to become an association of manufacturers and suppliers of medical equipment in the broadest sense.  This includes equipment for medical imaging, respiration, heart monitoring, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and instruments for ophthalmology.
