Despite an impressive development of clinical outcomes, a large gap remains between actual and the most advantageous utilisation of radiotherapy, with many patients not benefiting from optimal treatment.
This gap is also due to shortages of high-quality equipment. This is the main finding of the first edition of the COCIR Radiotherapy Age Profile and Density.
