Konica Minolta joins COCIR

COCIR is pleased to welcome Konica Minolta as a new member since this November. As experts in imaging who trace their corporate roots back to the early 20th century in Japan and Germany, Konica Minolta have expanded their medical imaging division over the last 20 years to become leaders in digital image-processing technology for the healthcare field. They provide the hospital and clinic market with high-performance X-ray digital diagnostic imaging systems.

“As the European Representative for the Konica Minolta Medical Business, we, Konica Minolta Medical & Graphic Imaging Europe, would like to gain better understanding about the European regulations and standards, as well as a better insight into actual market trends,” says Konica Minolta. “We decided that joining COCIR would give us access to accurate and up to date information on these important topics.”

Nicole Denjoy, COCIR Secretary General said “We are extremely happy to welcome another new member in this, our 50th anniversary year. Konica Minolta joins us bringing considerable expertise in the medical imaging sector and will add to the COCIR statistics giving us an even wider and more representative coverage of the industry.”
